Jim Maxson

James R. Maxson, III CPCU

Jim received his BS degree in Marine Transportation from SUNY Maritime College in NYC and after graduation worked for the Army Corps of Engineers.  He began his insurance career in 1976 as an underwriter for Reliance Insurance Company in N. Quincy Massachusetts.  He entered the agency business in 1979 and received his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation in 1989.  Since then he has developed broad experience consulting to design firms and specializes in Professional Liability Insurance and Risk Management training for A/E firms.  Jim affiliated with Promark Associated Agencies in September of 2007 and manages Promark's Design-Pro team of professionals.  Jim is past president of A/E Professional Network.  His interests include golf and woodworking.
