Commercial Property

A commercial property policy provides coverage for real and personal property that is used in a business. Protecting your real and business personal property must be a primary goal of any commercial insurance program.
Regardless of the size of your business, your property usually represents a large portion of your total assets. As a result, it should always be reviewed and used for comparison when evaluating any commercial property coverage form.
We recommend insuring the property on a replacement cost basis, rather than actual cash value.  Because of this, it's important to value the property correctly, and to not use the depreciated value as is typically shown in accounting records.
Most design firms are small enough that they are able to cover their commercial property on a business owners policy form.
